Linux Open .CBR (Comic Book Archive) File

I just got .cbr file from my friend and I want to open this file under Linux. I’ve downloaded comic books from the Internet but i am not able to open them. How do I open .cbr file under Linux?

A Comic Book Archive file or ComicBook Reader File is a type of archive file for the purpose of sequential viewing of images, especially comic books. Almost all .cbr file contain compressed image files. They are saved in the RAR format. This type of file can be simply opened by typing the following command:
evince file.cbr
OR
gnome-open file.cbr
Evince is a document viewer capable of displaying multiple and single page document formats like PDF, Postscript and .cbr files.
