VSFTPD: Force Upload Only No Downloads

Answer: You can easily configure vsftpd to disallow all download requests. You

VSFTPD ftp server download_enable option

If set to NO, all download requests will give permission denied.

Configure vsftpd to disallow all download requests

Open vsftpd.conf file:
# vi /etc/vsftpd.conf
Set download_enable to NO:
download_enable=NO
Save and close the file. Restart vsftpd ftp server:
# /etc/init.d/vsftpd restart
